How do I advertise an item??
Advertising your item is a straight forward process. Simply go to our Advertise Item page and select the appropriate category of your item/s. Then complete and submit the Form. Once your listing has been received and your payment has been cleared the item will be uploaded to the Formally Yours website. Please allow 3-4 working days.



How much do you charge to advertise an item?
Formally Yours, offers two advertising options. Please read our Pricing section for more information.



How much Commission do you charge for items sold?
None. You only pay the initial advertising fee. The actual sale and payment of the item is between the seller and the buyer. Please read our Terms & Conditions for more information.



How do I pay to advertise an item?
You can pay by Bpay, Money Order, Bank Cheque or Direct Deposit into the Formally Yours account. See our Pricing section for details.



How many items may I list on your website?
Formally Yours, gives the seller the option to sell more than one item, however each item must be listed separately.



What condition should my listed item be in for sale?
All items must be clean and in very good condition without visible signs of wear.



How long will my items remain advertised on your site?
Your item(s) will remain advertised on our website according to the Advertising Option you selected ( ie 4 or 8 Weeks ) or unless your item sells earlier, in which case you will need to notify us via our Remove Item form.

You may also request to have an item removed at any time by submitting our Remove Item Form.



How do I price my item?
The price placed on the item is totally up to you, however we do recommend that you remain realistic.



What methods of payment may I accept?
The sale of the item is between the seller and the buyer. Therefore the method of payment is by mutual agreement.



How do I notify you once my item has sold?
Simply complete and submit the Remove Item Form. Once received, we will remove your item from the website as soon as possible.



How do I browse for an item?
Simply select category from the Navigation menu and browse through the items on offer.



How do I buy an item that I like?
Contact the seller by email or phone to discuss the item on sale. Payment is between the seller and buyer.



How can I ask the seller a question?
Simply contact the seller via the details provided in the advertisement. Please note that for privacy reasons, we limit the amount of personal information disclosed.



What happens if my item does not sell by the end of the advertising period?
Your advertisement will automatically be deleted from the Formally Yours website at the end of the agreed advertising period. You are most welcome to Re-advertise your item at any time.



Can I re-advertise an item if not sold?
Yes you can but you need to notify us by submitting the Re-advertise Item Form within 3 working days of the expiry date of your advertisement. However you will need to pay a re-advertising cost, which will depend on which advertising option you select.

You will be invoiced accordingly.
