What started out as an idea over a birthday breakfast celebration has taken us along a fantastic and intriguing journey that has culminated in the creation of the Formally Yours website.

They say frustration is the mother of all invention – well that could be true.

Kerryn and Debbie the founders of Formally Yours both have daughters who have been through the wonderful and memorable formal occasions that come with being in Secondary College such as Formals, Debutante Balls and Valedictory celebrations.

It was Kerryn’s original idea to not only create a way to help both mother’s and their daughters find that perfect dress for that special occasion and at the same time to provide an economical avenue for them to turn their pre-loved treasure into dollars to help re-coup some of the cost.

While Formally Yours was initially designed for the Secondary School market Kerryn and Debbie quickly realized that this idea had a much broader appeal. With that in mind they have now included a Bridal category in their website.

The beauty of the Formally Yours website is that you can shop on-line in the comfort of your own home and at a time that suits you – the website is always open!
